Pre-save research checklist

Yupoo Spreadsheet Checklist Before Saving a Find

The checklist is deliberately stricter than “the link opens.” It asks whether the result still has enough context to deserve space on a shortlist.

Quick answer

Give one point for each clearly supported check. A high score means stronger shortlist evidence, not a verified product, seller or transaction.

Nine-point checklist

  • The item belongs in the category I am researching
  • The album or catalog photos show the details that matter
  • Watermarks and contact details are reasonably consistent
  • Sizing, measurements, or fit notes are visible when needed
  • Price is compared with similar results rather than judged alone
  • Shipping weight does not remove the value
  • The source or purchase link matches the item being shown
  • QC photos are relevant to the same item or source when available
  • I can explain why I would save this result

How to score a result

Count only checks supported by something you can point to. Do not award a point because a detail is likely or because another result had it.

8–9Strong shortlist candidate, but still not verified
5–7Research further
3–4Weak evidence
0–2Remove for now

Strong example

A strong research entry identifies the category and exact item page, records a visible code, notes relevant photo angles and measurements, separates the album from its source link, compares price and weight context, links matching QC evidence when available, and states why the result remains useful.

That entry is auditable. It still does not authenticate the item or verify the seller.

Weak example

A weak entry contains one broad album link, no stable identifier, no measurement note, no source-link status and an unsupported quality label. More images elsewhere cannot repair a row that does not explain the match.

One-sentence save rule

Save the result only when you can name the category, the useful evidence, the remaining uncertainty and the reason it deserves another look.

What to do next

Use the category guide when the product group is unclear, the QC guide for photo comparison, the shipping-weight guide for value context and the safety guide for seller or payment concerns. When several rows remain, use the shortlist review. The FAQ covers shorter questions.
